Dr Ted Piercy, BSc (hons), BDS, MSc Paediatric dentistry
Ted is a UK qualified dentist who has spent most of his career working in New Zealand after coming here on honeymoon in 2017.
Quite early on in his career Ted realised the part of his dental day he looked forward to was treating children. Placing fillings in adults quickly became repetitive but kids had a way of making everything an adventure. To Ted there is no better feeling than when a child comes to see him anxious and in pain and leaves happy and smiling. He is particularly good with anxious children and young adults.
Ted holds a masters degree in paediatric dentistry from University College London and focusses his practice on this age group.
In his spare time Ted skis, kayaks and plays piano and boardgames with his wife and friends. He has two small children who do their best to make sure he doesn't get much spare time, but Ted wouldn't trade them for the world.
