Todd is an expert in saving teeth. Thanks to his specialist training in endodontics, he can diagnose and treat tooth, mouth, and facial pain—especially the tricky cases that are hard to pin down. He’s highly skilled in relieving tooth pain, treating dental injuries, and performing advanced procedures like regenerating damaged pulp tissue. Need a root canal? Todd’s your guy.

He graduated from the Otago University School of Dentistry in 1993 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, receiving several clinical awards along the way—including the prestigious Gold Medal in Clinical Dentistry and a research scholarship.

Todd gained experience in both hospital and general dental practice before returning to Otago to complete a Master’s degree in endodontics in 2006.

He has also served as president of the Nelson Dental Association and works as an external clinical advisor to ACC on treatment injury cases.

Outside the clinic, Todd enjoys gardening. He's even won prizes for his vegetables!
